Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) Module Replacement

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the multifunction alarm module. Refer to Multifunction Alarm Module Replacement Service and Repair.




3. Remove the module push-in retainers (1).
4. Disconnect the module harness connector.
5. Remove the module (2).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the module (2).
2. Install the module push-in retainers (1).
3. Connect the module harness connector.
4. Install the multifunction alarm module. Refer to Multifunction Alarm Module Replacement Service and Repair.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
