Blower Motor Switch: Service and Repair

BLOWER MOTOR SWITCH REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the HVAC control assembly.
2. Remove the HVAC control assembly blower knob (1).
3. Remove the HVAC control assembly blower switch screw (2).
4. Remove the HVAC control assembly blower switch (3).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the HVAC control assembly blower switch (3).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the HVAC control assembly blower switch screw (2).

Tighten
Tighten the HVAC control blower switch screw (2) to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

3. Install the HVAC control assembly blower knob (1).
4. Install the HVAC control assembly.
