Vacuum Controller: Service and Repair

HVAC CONTROL VACUUM VALVE REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the HVAC control assembly.
2. Remove the HVAC control assembly selector switch screws (2, 4).
3. Remove the HVAC control assembly vacuum valve (3) from the selector switch (5).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the HVAC control assembly vacuum valve (3) to the selector switch (5).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the HVAC control assembly selector switch screws (2, 4).

Tighten
Tighten the HVAC control assembly selector switch screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

3. Install the HVAC control assembly.
