Front Door Window Motor: Service and Repair



Window Regulator Motor Replacement - Door

Coupe and sedan front doors use a cross arm regulator.

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the window regulator.
2. Drill a hole (3) through the window regulator sector gear and backplate.
3. Install a bolt and nut to lock the sector gear into position.
4. Drill out the rivets.
5. Remove the regulator motor (2) from the regulator (1).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the regulator motor (2) to the regulator (1).
2. Install the new rivets.
3. Remove the bolt and nut used to secure the sector gear.
4. Install the window regulator.
