Lock Replacement - Door

Removal Procedure

1. Raise the window.
2. Remove the front side door trim panel.
3. Remove the water deflector as needed.




4. Remove the lock cylinder rod (5) from the lock cylinder pawl clip (4).
5. Remove the lock cylinder retainer (2) using a flat-bladed tool to slide the retainer upward.
6. Remove the door lock cylinder (1) from the door (3).
7. Remove the lock cylinder gasket (2) from the door (3).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the new lock cylinder gasket (2) to the door (3).
2. Install the door lock cylinder (1) to the door (3).
3. Install the lock cylinder retainer (2) by using a small flat-bladed tool to slide the retainer downward into place.
4. Install the lock cylinder rod (5) to the lock cylinder pawl clip (4).
5. Install the water deflector.
6. Install the front side door trim panel.
7. Lower the window.
