Lumbar Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the front bucket seat (1).
2. Remove the screws from the recliner trim cover (2) and remove the trim cover from the front bucket seat (1).
3. Disconnect the wire harness from the lumbar seat switches (4,5).
4. With a small flat-bladed tool, release the retaining tab for the lumbar switches (4,5) and remove the switches from the trim cover.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the lumbar switches (4,5) into the seat recliner trim cover (2) and press until the switches are fully seated.
2. Connect the wire harness to the lumbar seat switches (4,5).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the recliner trim cover (2) to the front bucket seat (1) and install the cover screws.

Tighten the screws to 1.7 N.m (15 lb in).

4. Install the front bucket seat (1).
