Coolant Heater Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Drain the cooling system.
2. Disconnect the coolant heater cord.





3. Remove the oil fill tube bolt (2).
4. Remove the oil fill tube (3).
5. Remove the coolant heater (1).

Installation Procedure





1. Install the coolant heater (1).
2. Install the oil fill tube (3).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the oil fill tube bolt (2).
^ Tighten the bolt to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.)





4. Connect the coolant heater cord.
5. Fill the cooling system.
