Procedures

SEAT BACK LATCH REPLACEMENT - REAR FOLDING

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove enough of the rear seat back pad and cover (2) to gain access to the rear seat back latch.
2. Remove the seat back latch rivets (6).
3. Remove the rear seat back latch bolts (7).
4. Remove the rear seat back latch (4).
5. Disconnect the strap (5) from the rear seat back latch (4).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the strap (5) to the rear seat back latch (4).
2. Install the rear seat back latch (4).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the rear seat back latch bolts (7).

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in)

4. Install the rear seat back latch rivets (6).
5. Install the rear seat back pad and cover (2).
