Multifunction Switch

Turn Signal and Multifunction Switch Assembly - Disassemble - Off Vehicle (Telescoping Column)





1. Remove the upper and lower trim covers.
2. Remove the 2 pan head tapping screws (1).





3. Remove the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly (1).

Important: The electrical contact must rest on the turn signal cancel cam assembly.





1. Install the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly (1) to the steering column tilt head assembly.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





2. Install the 2 pan head tapping screws (1).
- Tighten the screws to 7 Nm (62 inch lbs.).

Caution: Refer to SIR inflator module coil caution in Service Precautions.

3. Install the upper and lower trim covers.
4. Enable the inflatable restraint steering wheel module.
