Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Remove the electrical connector from the APP module by releasing the locking tab.

2. Remove the mounting bolts.

3. Remove the module.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Install the module and the accelerator pedal position mounting bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the mounting bolts to 1 N.m (9 lb in).

2. Install the harness connector.
