Air Intake System

In order to route the cool air from the exterior of the engine compartment to the intake manifold, the system uses an air intake system. A filter is incorporated into the system in order to keep the dirt from entering the engine.




Air Cleaner Restriction Indicator
The air cleaner restriction indicator is located on the intake duct between the air cleaner assembly and the mass air flow (MAF) sensor program an existing control module.

If the area inside of the clear section is green, no air filter service is required. If the area inside the clear section is orange and Change Air Filter appears, replace the air filter.
