Brake Rotor Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle with safety stands. Refer to Vehicle Lifting
2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly.





3. Remove the brake caliper.
4. Remove the wheel bearings.





5. Remove the rotor from the vehicle.
6. Inspect and clean all of the parts. Replace any parts as necessary.
7. Refinish the rotor if required.

Installation Procedure
1. Install the rotor to the vehicle.





2. Install the wheel bearings and seal.
3. Install the brake caliper.
4. Install the tire and wheel assembly.
5. Remove the safety stands and lower the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
6. Lower the vehicle.
7. Depress the brake pedal.
8. Burnish the front brake rotors and pads.
