Battery Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the battery hold down retainer bolt (1).
3. Remove the battery hold down retainer (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the battery hold down retainer (2).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the battery hold down retainer bolt (1).

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).

3. Connect the negative battery cable.
