Radiator Hose Replacement- Inlet

Radiator Hose Replacement- Inlet (1.6L Engine)

Removal Procedure





Caution: Refer to Radiator Cap Removed Caution in Service Precautions.

1. Drain the engine coolant (1).





2. Loosen and reposition the hose clamp on the radiator inlet hose (2) at the radiator.
3. Loosen and reposition the hose clamp on the radiator inlet hose at the thermostat housing (1).
Remove the radiator hose (2).

Installation Procedure





1. Position a new hose clamp on each end of the new radiator inlet hose (2) before installation.
2. Install the new radiator hose to the thermostat housing (1) and to the radiator.
3. Secure with TWC hose clamps.
4. Fill the radiator with an approved coolant.
