Spark Plug Wire Inspection

^ Inspect the spark plug wires for the following conditions:
- A bent or a broken terminal
- Corrosion or moisture contamination
- Loose or poorly fitting terminals
- Boots for cracks or punctures
- Boots for carbon tracking
- Cable and boot for abnormal swelling or stiffness
- Cable for damage
^ Measure the electrical resistance of the spark plug wire (2) with a DMM (1). Resistance must not be more than 4-10 k ohm/m (1.2-3.0 k ohm/ft).
^ Replace any spark plug wire that fails an inspection or a test.
