Power Steering Pressure Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from Power Steering Pressure (PSP) switch.
2. Remove the PSP switch (2) from the power steering pump (3).

Installation Procedure

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





1. Install the PSP switch (2) into the power steering pump (3).
^ Tighten the PSP switch to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).
2. Connect the PSP switch electrical connector (1).
3. Bleed the air from the power steering system.
