Horn: Service and Repair

HORN REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the grille from the vehicle.

2. Disconnect the horn electrical connector.
3. Remove the horn bolt.
4. Remove the horn from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the horn.
2. Install the horn bolt.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the horn bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

3. Connect the electrical connector to the horn.
4. Install the grille to the vehicle.
