AIR CLEANER OUTLET RESONATOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.

2. Remove the engine cover.




3. Remove the air cleaner outlet retaining nut (1).
4. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct (2) from the throttle body assembly.




5. Loosen the air cleaner outlet duct from the MAF/IAT sensor.
6. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the air cleaner outlet duct to the MAF/IAT sensor.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the clamp to 4 N.m (35 lb in).




2. Install the air cleaner outlet duct (2) on the throttle body assembly.
3. Tighten the retaining nut (1).

Tighten
Tighten the nut 2 N.m (18 lb in).

4. Install the engine cover.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
