New Cylinder Bore Liner Replacement Procedure

Models:
2002-2003 Chevrolet Cavalier
2002-2003 Oldsmoblie Alero
2002-2003 Pontiac Grand Am, Sunfire
with 2.2L Engine (VIN F, D - RPO L61)

A new procedure has been developed to replace the cylinder bore liners in the 2.2L four cylinder engine. This procedure should be added to the service manual in the Engine Mechanical sub-section. This procedure may be used when the engine is in or out of the vehicle.
