Trunk Carpet is Damp or Wet (Install New Pressure Relief Valve)
Models:
2000-2005 Chevrolet Cavalier
2000-2005 Pontiac Sunfire (Sedan Only)
Condition
Some customers may comment that the trunk carpet is damp or wet.
Cause
When the HVAC blower motor is on, the pressure relief valve flaps are open. Water can enter through these flaps.
Correction
Replace the pressure relief valve with a new designed shielded valve.
