Disc Brake Hardware Replacement - Front (Dual Piston)

Removal Procedure
1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.





2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
3. Remove the front brake caliper.





4. Remove the front brake pads.
5. Remove the brake pad wear sensors.





6. Remove the bushings from the mounting bracket.
7. Lightly brush all brake pad contact areas.

Installation Procedure





1. Clean area using denatured alcohol.
2. Dry area using non-lubricated, filtered air.
3. Apply high temperature silicone brake lubricant to the brake caliper pin bolts. DO NOT apply lubricant to the brake pad hardware.





4. Install the bushings to the mounting bracket.





5. Install the brake pad wear sensors.
6. Install the brake pads.





7. Install the front brake caliper.
8. Install the tire and wheel assembly.
9. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
10. With the engine running, firmly pump the brake pedal three times.
