Air Injection Vacuum Control Solenoid Valve: Service and Repair

SECONDARY AIR INJECTION (AIR) VACUUM CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise the vehicle.




2. Remove vacuum line from solenoid (5).
3. Disconnect electrical connector (6) from the solenoid.
4. Remove solenoid from bracket on pump.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install solenoid (5) to bracket on pump.
2. Connect electrical connector (6) to the solenoid.
3. Install vacuum line to solenoid.
4. Lower vehicle.
