Mirror Replacement - Power

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to Express Down Feature Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Door (Service and Repair) .




2. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door. Service and Repair




3. Raise the window.




4. Disconnect the electrical connector(s).
5. Disconnect the mirror harness from the retainers.
6. Lower the window.
7. Remove the nuts from the power mirror studs.
8. Remove the power mirror with the harness and gasket.



Installation Procedure

Caution: Refer to Express Down Feature Caution in Cautions and Notices.





1. Position the power mirror with the gasket and harness to the door.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the nuts to the power mirror.

Tighten the power mirror nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).





3. Raise the window.
4. Route the harness and secure the harness with the harness retainers.
5. Connect the electrical connector(s).




6. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door. Service and Repair
7. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Door (Service and Repair) .
