Hinge Replacement - Endgate

Removal Procedure

1. Open the rear compartment lid.
2. Lower the endgate.
3. Remove the endgate. Refer to Endgate Replacement (Endgate Replacement) .




4. Remove the endgate hinge fastener.
5. Remove the endgate hinge from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure

1. Install the endgate hinge onto the vehicle.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the endgate hinge fastener.

Tighten the endgate hinge fastener to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

3. Install the endgate. Refer to Endgate Replacement (Endgate Replacement) .
4. Close the endgate.
5. Close the rear compartment lid.
