Hinge Shield Replacement - Endgate

Removal Procedure

1. Park vehicle on a clean, flat surface.




2. From underneath the vehicle, remove the endgate hinge shield fastener.




3. Pull downward to remove the endgate hinge shield from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Align the endgate hinge shield to the vehicle.
2. Install the endgate hinge shield to the vehicle.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the endgate hinge shield fastener.

Tighten the fastener to 5 N.m (44 lb in).
