Lock Striker Replacement - Endgate

Removal Procedure

1. Open the rear compartment lid.
2. Lower the endgate.
3. Using a grease pencil or suitable marking device, mark the location of the endgate lock striker prior to removal for installation.




4. Remove the endgate lock striker fasteners.




5. Remove the endgate lock striker from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the endgate lock striker onto the vehicle.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the endgate lock striker fasteners. Align the lock striker to the marks made upon removal and tighten the fasteners.

Tighten the lock striker fasteners to 10 N.m (88 lb in).

3. Raise the endgate to inspect alignment.
4. Close the endgate.
5. Close the rear compartment lid.
