Brake Light Switch: Adjustments
STOP LAMP SWITCH ADJUSTMENT 1.
Pull up the brake pedal and hold the pedal in this position.
2.
Adjust the stop lamp switch (2).
Measurement The clearance between the end of the thread and the brake pedal stopper (3) should be
1.5-2.0 mm (0.06-0.08 in).
3.
Tighten the lock nut.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions
Tighten Tighten the lock nut to
7.5 N.m (66.4 lb in).
