DRL Control Module Replacement (Without Keyless Entry)

DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS (DRL) CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT (WITHOUT KEYLESS ENTRY)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
The daytime running lamp (DRL) control module is located beneath the instrument panel to the right of the steering column.




1. Remove the IP steering column opening trim plate.
2. Disconnect the DRL control module electrical connector (2).
3. Remove the following components from the vehicle:
3.1. The DRL control module mounting bolt
3.2. The DRL control module (1)

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the DRL control module (1) to the vehicle. Secure the module with the mounting bolt.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the DRL control module mounting bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

2. Connect the DRL control module electrical connector (2).
3. Install the IP steering column opening trim plate.
