Inlet

Radiator Hose Replacement- Inlet

- J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

Removal Procedure





1. Drain the cooling system.
2. Remove the left side diagonal brace.

Important: Use the J 38185 to gently release tension on the hose clamp until the hose clamp lock feature engages allowing removal of the hose.

3. Release tension from the hose clamp at the radiator using the J 38185.
4. Disconnect the radiator inlet hose from the radiator.
5. Release tension from the hose clamp at the thermostat housing using the J 38185.
6. Disconnect the radiator inlet hose from tire thermostat housing.
7. Remove the radiator inlet hose

Installation Procedure





1. Install the radiator inlet hose.
2. Connect the radiator inlet hose to the radiator.

Important: Release the hose clamp retention lock by using a small flat bladed screwdriver.

3. Release the hose clamp retention lock at the radiator to secure the hose.
4. Connect the radiator inlet hose to the thermostat housing.
5. Release the hose clamp retention lock at the thermostat housing to secure the hose.
6. Install the left side diagonal brace.
7. Fill the coolant.
