Shift Control Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the shift cables from the shifter assembly.





2. Disconnect the shift interlock cable.





3. Remove the 2 front mounting nuts.





4. Remove the 2 rear mounting bolts and the shifter.

Installation Procedure





1. Position the shifter on the studs and install the front 2 nuts.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





2. Install the 2 rear bolts.
Tighten the nuts and bolts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the shift cables.
4. Install the console.
