Sunroof / Moonroof Module: Service and Repair

SUNROOF CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Close the sunroof.
2. Lower the headliner as necessary. Refer to Headliner Replacement in Interior Trim.




3. Disconnect the wire harness connectors from both ends of the sunroof control module (8).
4. Remove the nylon tie straps from the control module (8).
5. Remove the control module (8) from the sunroof assembly by sliding the control module towards the right of the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the sunroof control module to the sunroof assembly by sliding the control module (8) towards the left side of the vehicle.
2. Install the nylon tie straps to the control module (8).
3. Connect the wire harness connectors to both ends of the control module (8).
4. Install the headliner, as necessary.
5. Check for proper operation of the sunroof.
