Seat Adjuster Track Cover Replacement - Front

SEAT ADJUSTER TRACK COVER REPLACEMENT - FRONT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the covers from the front end of the seat adjuster track by spreading the two rear feet and pulling forward.




2. For the manual seat, remove the retaining screw from the rear of the seat adjuster track. Remove the covers from the track.




3. For the power seat, spread the track cover arms (1) and pull rearward to remove

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: The rear adjuster cover with the straight inside edges fits the track nearest the door.




1. For the power seat, to install the covers (1) spread the arms and push forward onto the rear end of the seat adjuster track.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




2. For the manual seat, position the covers to the rear of the seat adjuster track. Insert a screw to secure each track cover.

Tighten
Tighten the screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).




3. Install the covers to the front end of the seat adjuster track.
