Wiper Motor Module Support Bracket Replacement

WIPER MOTOR MODULE SUPPORT BRACKET REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the wiper arms.
2. Remove the air inlet grille panel.
3. Remove the wiper drive system module.




4. Remove the 3 wiper motor module support bracket screws.
5. Remove the wiper motor module support bracket from the wiper motor.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the wiper motor module support bracket to the wiper motor.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the wiper motor module support bracket screws.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 5.5 N.m (49 lb in).

3. Install the wiper drive system module.
4. Install the air inlet grille panel.
5. Cycle the wiper drive system. Turn off the wiper drive system at the park position to ensure proper positioning of the wiper arms upon installation.
6. Install the wiper arms.
