Fog/Driving Lamp: Service and Repair

FOG LAMP REPLACEMENT - FRONT (MONTE CARLO)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the headlamp.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fog lamp.
3. Remove the bulb from the socket, turning counterclockwise.
4. Remove the push-on clips using a small flat bladed tool.




5. Remove the screw from the fog lamp.
6. Remove the fog lamp from the front bumper fascia.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the fog lamp to the front bumper fascia location tabs.
2. Install the push-on clips to the front bumper fascia location tabs, pressing on until fully seated.
3. Install the bulb to the socket, turning clockwise.
4. Connect the electrical connector from the fog lamp.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




5. Install the screw to the fog lamp.

Tighten
Tighten the screw to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

6. Install the headlamp.
