Console Compartment Door - Latch Replacement
LATCH REPLACEMENT - CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOORREMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the console compartment lid.
2. Remove the 6 screws retaining the lid to the armrest.
3. Remove the armrest pad from the compartment lid.
4. Remove the armrest latch and spring.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Position the armrest latch and spring to the console lid.
2. Install the armrest pad to the compartment lid.
3. Install the 6 screws retaining the lid to the armrest.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Tighten the screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).
4. Close the console compartment lid.
