Starter/Generator Stator Replacement (With RPO Code HP2)

STARTER/GENERATOR STATOR REPLACEMENT (WITH RPO CODE HP2)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the transmission.
2. Remove the starter/generator stator stud.
3. Remove the starter/generator stator.
Rotate the stator until the 3-phase cable junction block is near the bottom.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the starter/generator stator.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the starter/generator stator stud.

Tighten
Tighten the stud to 16 N.m (12 lb ft)

3. Install the transmission.
