Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement - FrontRemoval Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable hoist. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Disconnect the front wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove the retaining bolt (3).
4. Remove the front wheel speed sensor (1) from the steering knuckle (2).
5. Remove the front wheel speed sensor, sensor harness (2), and harness bracket (1) from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the front wheel speed sensor assembly (1)to the steering knuckle (2).
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the retaining bolt (3).
^ Tighten the retaining bolt to 7.8 Nm (69 inch lbs.).
3. Connect the front wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Perform Diagnostic System Check - ABS.
