87. Generator Installation

Generator Installation





1. Install the generator (3) to the brackets.
2. Install but do not tighten the generator bolts (1, 2).





3. Install the drive belt to the pulleys.
4. Remove slack from the belt by pulling on the generator in order to obtain 9 - 11 mm (0.35 - 0.43 inch) of belt deflection under 10 kg (22 lbs.) of force.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

5. Tighten the 2 bolts (1, 2) to secure the generator.
- Tighten the bolts to 23 Nm (16.5 ft. lbs.).
