Sealing Strip Replacement - Midgate Window Outer

Removal Procedure




1. Lower the mid gate window.
2. Release the mid gate latches, opening the mid gate until the holes in the hinge assembly are aligned.
3. Install 5 mm (0.20 in) pins (2) or allen wrench through the holes in each hinge (1) to support the mid gate.




4. Carefully remove the mid gate window sealing strip from the flanges of the mid gate.

Installation Procedure




1. Align the tab on the mid gate window sealing strip to the notch in the mid gate flange.
2. Install the window sealing strip to the mid gate flanges, pressing down until the seal is fully seated.




3. Remove the pins (2) or allen wrenches from the mid gate hinges (1) supporting the mid gate.
4. Close the mid gate, ensuring the latches are fully engaged.
5. Close the mid gate window, ensure the window sealing strip remains fully seating and not binding against the mid gate window.
