Assist Step Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the assist step nuts.
2. Remove the assist step from the assist step brackets.

Installation Procedure

1. Position the assist step to the assist step brackets.
2. Install the assist step nuts and hand tighten.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Align the ends of the assist step bar 10 mm from the rocker panel.

Tighten the assist step nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
