Support Bracket Replacement - VES Over Head Console

SUPPORT BRACKET REPLACEMENT - VES OVERHEAD CONSOLE

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the forward overhead console cover.
2. Remove the screws holding the VES bracket assembly to the roof.




3. Pull the headliner down and slide the bracket forward to release the rear locking tabs.




4. Remove the bracket from the headliner.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the bracket between the roof and the headliner.




2. Slide the bracket inward until the locking tab and screw holes align.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




3. Install the screws into the VES bracket.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

4. Install the VES overhead console.




5. Install the forward overhead console cover.
