Disc Brake Splash Shield Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure
Caution: Refer to Brake Dust Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
3. Remove the hub and bearing assembly (4). Refer to Wheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal Replacement (RWD) Wheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal Replacement (AWD) in Front Suspension.




4. Remove the splash shield (6).



Installation Procedure





1. Install the splash shield (6).
2. Install the hub and bearing assembly (4). Refer to Wheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal Replacement (RWD) Wheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal Replacement (AWD) in Front Suspension.
3. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
4. Remove the safety stands.
5. Lower the vehicle.
