Lubricant Replacement - Front Drive AxleRemoval Procedure
1. Raise the vehicle.
2. Remove the fill plug and the washer.
3. Remove the drain plug and the washer.
4. Drain the fluid from the front axle differential.
Installation Procedure
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
1. Install the drain plug and the washer.
^ Tighten the drain plug to 33 Nm (24 ft. lbs.).
2. Fill the front differential with lubricant. Use the proper fluid.
3. Install the fill plug and the washer.
^ Tighten the fill plug to 33 Nm (24 ft. lbs.).
4. Lower the vehicle.
