Engine Front Crossmember Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement Service and Repair.

2. Remove the bolts and reposition the power steering return line.

3. Remove the forward engine mount-through bolt.

4. Remove the rear engine mount-through bolt.





5. Remove the bolts and the center member.

Installation Procedure





Notice:
Refer to Fastener Notice Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the center member with the bolts.

* Tighten the center member-to-crossmember bolt to 90 Nm (66 lb ft).

* Tighten the center member-to-radiator bolt to 90 Nm (66 lb ft).





2. Install the rear engine mount-through bolt.

Tighten the rear engine mount-through bolt to 80 Nm (59 lb ft).

3. Install the forward engine mount-through bolt.

Tighten the forward engine mount-through bolt to 80 Nm (59 lb ft).

4. Install the power steering return line to its original position and install the bolts.

5. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement Service and Repair.

Tighten the power steering return pipe fixing bolts to 7 Nm (62 lb in).
