Front Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement
Removal Procedure
Caution:
Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair in General Information.
3. Disconnect the front wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
4. Remove the front hub unit from the steering knuckle assembly, because the wheel speed sensor is not serviceable separately. Refer to Steering Knuckle Replacement Service and Repair in Front Suspension.
Installation Procedure
Important:
The wheel speed sensor is served as an assembly, hub-wheel speed sensor. Therefore, the additional working procedure for air gap is not needed.
1. Install the front hub unit. Refer to Steering Knuckle Replacement Service and Repair in Front Suspension.
2. Connect the front wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
3. Lower the vehicle.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
