Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair

AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Loosen the duct clamp (1).
2. Remove the air cleaner assembly bolts (3).
3. Remove the air cleaner assembly.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install air cleaner assembly
2. Install the air cleaner assembly bolts (3).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the bolts to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).

3. Tighten the duct clamp.

Tighten the clamp to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
