Window Regulator: Service and Repair




Door Window Regulator Replacement

Removal Procedure





Caution:
Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution Battery Disconnect Caution.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the door glass. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement Front Side Door Window Replacement or to Rear Side Door Window Replacement Service and Repair.

3. Disconnect the electrical connector.

4. Remove the nuts and the window regulator.

Installation Procedure





Notice:
Refer to Fastener Notice Fastener Notice.

1. Install the window regulator with the nuts.

Tighten the window regulator nuts to 8 Nm (71 lb in).

2. Connect the electrical connector.

3. Install the door glass. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement Front Side Door Window Replacement or to Rear Side Door Window Replacement Service and Repair.

4. Connect the negative battery cable.
