Transmission Mount: Service and Repair



Transmission Mount Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure
1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the crossmember.
3. Remove the mounting bolts for the trans mount.
4. Remove the trans mount.

Installation Procedure
1. Position the trans mount on the transmission.
2. Install the mounting bolts.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. ^ Tighten the transmission mount bolts to 65 Nm (48 ft. lbs.).
4. Install the crossmember.
5. Lower the vehicle.
