Oil Pump, Engine
1.
Important: During assembly, install NEW oil pump driveshaft retainer. Slightly heat the retainer above room temperature for ease of installation onto the oil pump driveshaft.
Assemble the oil pump, driveshaft and a NEW retainer.
2.
Install the oil pump assembly. Position the oil pump onto the locating pins.
3.
Install the oil pump bolt.
Tighten the bolts to
75 Nm (56 ft. lbs.).
4.
Install the
oil pan.
