Timing Components: Specifications

Engine Front Cover.
Install the engine front cover bolts.
Tighten the engine front cover bolts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).

Timing Chain Adjustable Guide Bolt 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.)
Timing Chain Fixed Guide Bolt 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.)
Timing Chain Oil Nozzle Bolt 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.)
Timing Chain Upper Guide Bolt 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.)

Use J 38122-A to prevent the crankshaft from rotating while tightening the crankshaft balancer bolt.

Crankshaft Pulley Bolt
^ First Pass 100 Nm (74 ft. lbs.)
^ Final Pass 75 degrees
